Megan Fox Credits the Low-Carb Paleo Diet For Her Weight Loss
According to Megan Fox, eating a Paleo diet high in protein, grass-fed meat, fruit & fresh vegetables is largely responsible for losing a significant amount of weight recently.
Her motivation for going Paleo & losing weight all came about after promising herself to lose all the post pregnancy pounds as soon as possible after the birth of her child which
Whilst not having got completely used to not eating a nice slice of bread every now & then, she does feel that the Paleo diet “actually makes you more efficient as a mother” and went on to say that “you are able to expend more energy without being exhausted“.
Curious as to what she eats?
- Well it was reported that most mornings for breakfast she has have a smoothie or an omelet made with egg whites as well as some avocado.
- As a snack she resorts to hummus and cut veggies
- and for lunch she will often have a salad with grilled chicken for lunch.
Megan goes on to say that she has been using Apple Cider Vinegar which she feels helps clean out her system.
However she doesn’t just drink it, she ingests it by using it as a salad dressing for her finely chopped fennel, cucumber, feta cheese, baby spinach & avocado salad.
Before you dash out to buy gallons of Apple Cider Vinegar it worth noting that according to WebMD there has only been one clinical study done on the effects of weight loss by consuming Apple Cider Vinegar.
The study revealed that out of a group of obese people, those who consumed ACV for a period of 12 weeks lost a miserly 1 to 2 pounds.
It gets worse though as they all put it back on after stopping the ingestion of the Apple Cider Vinegar.
You can draw your own conclusions but her weight loss & the shape that Megan is in could quite possibly be attributed to her eating according to the Paleo diet which has helped many shed their excess weight & improve their energy levels.
