3 Famous Paleo Eaters
The health benefits that many people seem to be enjoying from eating a Paleo styled diet is catching on fast with celebs and famous sportspeople.
Here are just some of them…
1. Matthew McConaughey
This guy’s body is the envy of many men and admired by women, and men for that matter, across the globe.
In his most recent movie, Mud, he plays the character of a hungry fugitivewho could easily emulate our hunter, gatherer paleolithic ancestors.
In real life he is the picture of health & fitness, doesn’t have a lot of spare fat to weigh him down and says that he sticks strictly to the Paleo way of eating for almost 1005 of the time.
The only time he doesn’t is when he is with his kids and indulges in some non-Paleo treats but otherwise we can claim him as a Paleo convert.
2. Miley Cyrus
One of the cornerstones of the Paleo diet is that it excludes that toxic stuff called gluten.
As Miley Cyrus has a gluten allergy, eating bread or wheat was definitely not on her food list.
She told US Weekly that …
“Everyone should try no gluten for a week! The change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing. You won’t go back!”
Therefore, following the Paleo, gluten-free, way of eating was an easy choice for her and her health.
If her newly found diet has anything to do with the shape she’s in, then Paleo should get your vote.
3. Novak Djokovic
Djokovic has always been strong and athletic, which has reflected in his tennis, however he began struggling with dizziness & breathing problems and his condition wasn’t always as good as he would have liked it to have been.
Furthermore, his mental attitude was starting to reveal cracks leading to unnecessary frustration and poor play.
Since cutting gluten out of his diet and following a Paleo styled diet he has managed to turn things around so dramatically that he has chalked up 41 straight wins including 4 over Nadal & 3 over Federer.
From the comments appearing in a Wall Street Journal article about Djokovic’s amazing turnaround, it is clear that many people believe that only PEDS (performance Enhancing Drugs) could dramatically improve performance in such a way. The article also goes on to say that Djokovic has also cut out other unhealthy food including gluten & carbohydrates, so he is probably on the Paleo diet.
