Paleo Meals For Breakfast, Lunch & Supper
Many people new to the Paleo diet are curious as to what sort of Paleo meals make up a typical day for breakfast, lunch and supper.
While you won’t have to go & hunt or gather berries for your Paleo meals, like our paleolithic ancestors did, as there are many nutrient dense wholesome foods to choose from.
Whilst there’s a wide variety of meal options available, here are some examples of easy Paleo meals you can have for breakfast, lunch & supper.
Breakfast
At the risk of sounding boring a typical Paleo breakfast for me consists of various combinations of bacon, eggs (fried or poached), avocado & salmon.
Sometimes it’s bacon & avo and other days it’s just bacon & eggs depending on how hungry I’m feeling.
The main thing though is to get in enough nutrients and healthy fats to keep your energy levels topped up for ages without feeling hungry.
This also means avoiding simple carbs like commercial breakfast cereals that neither satisfy or provide any health benefits.
Lunch
For a nutritious Paleo lunch you could typically grab a piece of roast chicken and have that with some salad or vegetable.
The chicken could even be warmed up leftovers from the previous evening’s dinner.
Chicken always goes well with green beans, slightly fried kale or spinach.
Remember, green leafy vegetables make a perfect choice for the typical way of Paleo eating.
Supper
For an easy evening meal you could just have some soup, beef vegetable or delicious pumpkin soup (for example).
If you’re still feeling hungry after that you could eat a small plate of salmon and avo which should be satisfying & leave you feeling full without any bloating.
Whilst this is just an example of what a day of eating Paleo meals could look like, there are tons of far more exciting Paleo dishes that you can serve up for breakfast, lunch & supper.
There are also many healthy Paleo treats that you can indulge in, so there’s no reason to think that the Paleo way of eating is boring & bland.

3 Basic Rules For Preparing Your Paleo Meals For the Day
- When deciding what to eat you must avoid grains, sugars (unless it’s from fruit) & processed foods from your meal options as these are the culprits that cause health & weight issues.
- On the other hand if a significant part of your diet currently consists of grains, sugars and/or processed foods, you should notice a massive difference in your health & weight if you cut them right out of your diet for good.
