Many people have noticed Julius Malema’s weight loss in recent times.

The Julius Malema weight loss story & new diet were confirmed by Julius himself during an interview Gareth Cliff conducted with the politician recently.

During the exchange Julius said he was inspired by the words of Nelson Mandela who had said that “to be a credible leader of the people you would have to lose weight some weight”.

This prompted him to start examining his diet & cutting out the foods that were causing weight gain & feelings of sluggishness.

Included in Noakes’ dietary advice was the following;

  • Avoid all sugars, soft drinks, pastries etc
  • Avoid alcohol
  • Avoid eating white bread, pastas & other simple carbs
  • Eat less than 25 grams of carbohydrate per day
  • Avoid all processed foods
  • Eat only foods that are found on the Banting green list of foods & to avoid those on the red list

      It’s best to get a registered nutritionist or medical practioner to advise you on the best diet for your body type.

      However, if you combine this Paleo Diet Plan with a weight lifting routine (recommended with Paleo) you should gain muscle mass & burn fat.
