Keto Tuna Cakes and Burgers
These low-carb Keto tuna burgers, or Keto tuna cakes, are not only tasty, satisfying & healthy, but they’re also really easy to make.
It shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to produce a batch of these awesome Keto tuna burgers packed with awesome healthy fats without the carbs.
Furthermore, they make a perfect Keto meal just to eat as bunless burgers, together with a salad and some avo.
However, if you prefer eating your burgers with a bun, you can use this Keto cloud bread to make complete Keto burgers without the bread.
Furthermore, they’re also ideal for making Banting burgers as they both low-carb & sugar-free.
Keto & Banting Burgers – Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tins of tuna (119grams each, drained)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup Keto mayo
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- Salt & pepper
- Olive oil for frying
Method
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (except the olive oil)
- Preheat the olive oil in a frying pan
- Spoon mixture into the frying pan in circles, burger size and about 1cm thick.
- Cook approximately 3 – 4 minutes each side.
- Optional: You can omit the cheese but I find the cheese makes the burgers a little crispy and delicious.
I should just mention that whilst these Keto tuna cakes, or burger patties, are both Banting & Paleo friendly, you should leave out the cheese if you’re following a strict Paleo diet. Organic cheese is fine for both Keto and Banting diets though.
I just love devouring these Keto tuna patties with a small salad and avo.
The mayo is optional but if you prefer it, try this low-carb mayo.
It makes such a tasty meal rich in those essential healthy fats, especially with the avo and cheese, but without the carbs to keep you on your healthy low-carb eating plan.
With great food options like these low-carb Keto burgers, there really is no excuse to slip back into the convenience food habit.
In fact after eating a salad with these Keto tuna patties, I feel so satisfied & healthy, there is no way that you would catch me eating a greasy burger.
